About My Press Needs

It’s all in the name.

Our name says it all—My Press Needs are your press needs. We believe a clamshell company should provide more than just a product. That’s why, in 2000, we formed MPN to respond to industry needs. Since then, we’ve been partnering with our customers, offering honest advice and assistance before your buying decision, as well as technical resources after installation. And of course, we provide high-quality platen die cutters.

Our experience in the clamshell press market dates back to 1986, when the Weidhaas family began manufacturing the IT&M clamshell in the U.S. In 1996, IT&M merged with Preco, where the Weidhaases contributed to the development of the Preco M3043. When Preco changed its focus, the family formed MPN to focus solely on supporting clamshell technology.

Integrity and Innovation

Our unwavering commitment to our customers and the die-cutting industry drives MPN’s mission to provide the best solutions for manufacturers. Over the past 30 years, the Crest Clamshell has evolved through continuous engineering advancements, resulting in one of the flattest platens, the tonnage to cut difficult substrates, and many advanced features.

The Crest’s reliability and performance are well-known among its owners. And so is the integrity of our company. Our straightforward, honest business practices are the foundation of our products and services. Guaranteed.
