MPN Sells New Dual Heater Clamshell Shown at SGIA Expo
The new Crest, which features heaters on the moving and non-moving platens, expands MPN’s embossing capabilities in the membrane switch and graphic overlay market. Nadine Tripodi, President/Owner of Butler Technologies, said the company purchased the 20”x 26” press to increase efficiency in their processes. Butler focuses on print applications for a variety of industries, providing services that include printed electronics and user-interface solutions such as membrane switches, graphic overlays and more.

Cell Manufacturing new Niche for My Press Needs
My Press Needs (MPN) announces the sale of a third Crest Clamshell to be used in cell manufacturing, a growing niche for the company’s line of platen presses. Empire Screen Printing, Onalaska, WI, recently purchased 32” x 47” and 41” x 67” Crest Clamshells for its large format manufacturing cells. Last year, GM Nameplate bought a 20” x 26” Crest Clamshell to use in its aerospace manufacturing cell.

My Press Needs Forms New Service Division
MPN Services will provide Crest owners preventive maintenance, emergency service and phone consultation through independent servicers nationwide. MPN’s John Stadler has been named director of the new division. Assets of MPN’s previous service affiliate, My Service Needs, have been sold to David Mussi. A veteran clamshell service provider, Mussi has contracted with MPN to be lead technician for the new division.
