Crest at Surefold Company

Surefold President Mike Duffy said he bought MPN’s Crest because of its high tonnage capability. “We’re serious die cutters; we do a lot of unique work,” said Duffy. “As digital printing formats get bigger and the runs shorter, the Crest gives us the tonnage we need.”

Duffy tested the Crest on one of his most complex die cutting jobs – a multi-piece puzzle – and said he was pleasantly surprised. “My old press was stressed by the puzzle, but the Crest handled it with no effort at all,” said Duffy. “And when the Crest makes impressions, it’s very accurate and quiet.”

MPN President Rob Weidhaas said the Crest can die cut plastics, paper, corrugated and even thicker materials like Falconboard® and Re-board®. “That gives us the ability to help companies like Surefold handle a variety of precise, demanding die cutting projects.”

“Quality is of the utmost importance to Surefold,” said Duffy. “We made an investment in the Crest, and we’re more than happy we did.”
